The Miss Gwinnett County Scholarship Pageant
The 2012 Miss Gwinnett County Scholarship Pageant will be held on Saturday September 15, 2012 at 8 o’clock at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA. Contestants must live, work or attend school in the following counties for at least six months: The pageant territory's southern border will extend in a direct line eastward from the city of Columbus (Muscogee County) to the South Carolina border (Effingham County.) The southern border passes through and includes these counties: Muscogee, Chattahoochee, Marion, Taylor, Macon, Peach, Houston, Twiggs, Bleckley, Laurens, Treutlen, Emanuel, Candler, Bulloch & Effingham. From this southern border northward, all Georgia counties are eligible for competition in Miss Gwinnett County.
The new eligible territory covers 100 counties in northern and central Georgia: Baldwin, Banks, Barrow, Bartow, Bibb, Bleckley, Bulloch, Burke, Butts, Candler, Carroll, Catoosa, Chattahoochee, Chattooga, Cherokee, Clarke, Clayton, Cobb, Columbia, Coweta, Crawford, Dade, Dawson, DeKalb, Douglas, Effingham, Elbert, Emanuel, Evans, Fannin, Fayette, Floyd, Forsyth, Franklin, Fulton, Gilmer, Glascock, Gordon, Greene, Gwinnett, Habersham, Hall, Hancock, Haralson, Harris, Hart, Heard, Henry, Houston, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Jenkins, Johnson, Jones, Lamar, Laurens, Lincoln, Lumpkin, Macon, Madison, Marion, McDuffie, Meriwether, Monroe, Morgan, Murray, Muscogee, Newton, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Paulding, Peach, Pickens, Pike, Polk, Putnam, Rabun, Richmond, Rockdale, Screven, Spalding, Stephens, Talbot, Taliaferro, Taylor, Towns, Treutlen, Troup, Twiggs, Union, Upson, Walker, Walton, Warren, Washington, White, Whitfield, Wilkes & Wilkinson.
